ZenVermilion is designed with privacy in mind. Our core experience is a lightweight, single-page interaction intended to help you pause and release. This policy explains what we do (and do not) collect.

1) What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit the text you type into the ZenVermilion input field. The experience is rendered locally in your browser for the purpose of the visual effect. Your input remains on your device.

2) What we may collect

We may collect limited technical information for basic site operation, security, and performance, such as:

  • • Browser type and version
  • • Device and operating system information
  • • Approximate region (derived from IP at a coarse level)
  • • Pages visited and basic usage events (aggregated)

This information is used to keep the site reliable and to understand overall traffic patterns. It is not used to identify you personally.

3) Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site based on your prior visits to ZenVermilion or other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
  • Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

You can also choose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings.

4) GDPR and CCPA notice

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or certain other jurisdictions, you may have rights under GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.

Because ZenVermilion does not collect your input text, the data we can associate with you is limited to standard web logs and cookies used for ads and basic analytics.

5) Data retention

Any limited technical logs (if collected) are retained only as long as necessary for security, performance, and compliance purposes, and are periodically deleted or anonymized.

6) Children's privacy

ZenVermilion is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
